About Oh My OpenCode
A specialized orchestration layer for OpenCode. Batteries-included agents, hooks, and workflows that understand your build pipeline.
What is Oh My OpenCode?
Oh My OpenCode is a specialized orchestration layer that sits on top of OpenCode, the open source AI coding agent with 60K+ GitHub stars and 650,000+ monthly developers.
While standard tools might struggle with separate repositories and complex build scripts, Oh My OpenCode uses a modular workflow to handle the load. It assigns specialized tasks to different processes: one to plan the architecture, one to write the React logic, and another to manage the build-time integration. This allows them to work in parallel on the same project.
If OpenCode is Debian/Arch, Oh My OpenCode is Ubuntu/Omarchy - a polished, feature-rich distribution that just works out of the box. It's not just about basic coding; it's about having a structural assistant that understands your build pipeline.
Author's Note
"I've used LLMs worth $24,000 tokens purely for personal development. Tried every tool out there, configured them to death. OpenCode won.
The answers to every problem I hit are baked into this plugin. Just install and go. If OpenCode is Debian/Arch, Oh My OpenCode is Ubuntu/Omarchy.
Heavily influenced by AmpCode and Claude Code—I've ported their features here, often improved. And I'm still building. It's OpenCode, after all.
Enjoy multi-model orchestration, stability, and rich features that other harnesses promise but can't deliver. I'll keep testing and updating. I'm this project's most obsessive user.
Stop agonizing over agent harness choices. I'll do the research, borrow from the best, and ship updates here.
If this sounds arrogant and you have a better answer, please contribute. You're welcome.
I have no affiliation with any project or model mentioned here. This is purely personal experimentation and preference.
99% of this project was built using OpenCode. I tested for functionality—I don't really know how to write proper TypeScript. But I personally reviewed and largely rewrote this doc, so read with confidence."
Real-World Success Stories
Oh My OpenCode has been used to solve complex development challenges:
Complex Build Pipelines
"In just 1.5 hours, Oh My OpenCode consumed 500,000 tokens to build a PDF Merge feature from scratch, navigating a Hugo/React hybrid stack with custom build scripts. What usually takes 6-8 hours of manual work was handled in a single supervised session."
— Laurent Meyer, SaferPDF.com
Multi-Repo Structures
The tool correctly identified that it needed to touch the Vite config and Hugo Markdown files simultaneously, understanding the relationship between folders and repos. It managed feature branches and commits flawlessly.
Build System Navigation
Oh My OpenCode proved it can navigate the plumbing of a project, not just the painting. For projects where adding a button means updating three configs and a build script, this multi-agent approach is a significant time-saver.
